Short version
Revenue Peek does not require an account and does not run a backend that receives your Stripe key or financial activity. The app connects directly to Stripe, calculates totals on your device, and stores its restricted key in Apple’s Keychain.
Your Stripe credential
You provide a Stripe restricted API key with Balance read access. The key is stored in the device’s data-protection Keychain and is available only to the signed Revenue Peek app and its widget where the operating system permits this. It is not sent to Revenue Peek or backed up by us. Each device requires its own local setup.
Stripe data and calculations
Revenue Peek sends requests directly from your device to Stripe to retrieve supported balance transactions. It uses those responses to calculate the selected earnings total. Revenue Peek does not operate an intermediary financial-data server.
Information stored on your device
The app stores settings such as account label, currency, period, net or gross selection, appearance, and the latest calculated total. The app and widget share totals and settings through an Apple App Group. The Stripe key remains in Keychain rather than the shared settings file.
Deleting app data
Disconnecting Stripe removes the stored credential and cached total from Revenue Peek on that device. Uninstalling the app removes app-container data; operating-system Keychain behavior can vary across reinstall and device restoration.
Purchases
Revenue Peek is sold through Apple’s App Store as a universal purchase. Apple processes payment and purchase history. Revenue Peek does not receive your card or payment-method details.
Website analytics
The Revenue Peek website uses DataFast to understand page visits, referrals, device and browser type, approximate location, and interactions with the site. The website does not send your Stripe key or app financial data to DataFast. Google Analytics is not enabled.
Support messages
If you contact support, we receive your email address and whatever information you choose to include. Do not send Stripe API keys or unredacted financial information.
How we use information
We use information to provide and maintain the app, respond to support, understand website performance, prevent abuse, and meet legal or App Store obligations. We do not sell personal information or use app financial data for advertising.
Service providers
Apple provides App Store purchasing and device platform services. Stripe responds to API requests made with your restricted key. DataFast provides website measurement. Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy policy.
Legal bases and rights
Where applicable, we rely on contract to provide the purchased app, legitimate interests to maintain and understand the service, consent where required for analytics, and legal obligations. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information we hold about you.
Retention and security
App data remains on your device until you disconnect, delete it, or remove the app. Support and website analytics records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for their stated purposes. No storage or transmission method is perfectly secure, but we minimize the information Revenue Peek receives by keeping financial processing on your device.
Children
Revenue Peek is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy when the app, website, providers, or legal requirements change. The current version will remain posted here.
